As a newborn photographer in the Fenton, Michigan area, my style is rooted in a film like editorial aesthetic—soft, natural, and timeless. I believe in capturing the fleeting moments of those first few weeks at home, where your story truly begins.
That’s why I love photographing families at home. There’s something incredibly special about being in your own space—where the environment is familiar and everyone can relax into the moment. These sessions are cozy, calm, and baby-led. There’s no pressure for perfect poses or rigid timelines. Instead, we allow the moments to unfold naturally.
Expect your session to last around two hours. This gives us the flexibility to follow your baby’s rhythm—whether they need to eat, be cuddled, or sleep in your arms. Siblings are welcome to come and go as they please; sometimes they pop in for a snuggle or peek at the baby, and other times they’re off doing their own thing. That’s the beauty of documenting your family as it truly is.
I focus on connection—the tender glances, gentle touches, and shared laughter that tell a bigger story. My goal is to create imagery that feels timeless and meaningful, not just now, but for years to come. You won’t find any props from 2012 or forced smiles here. Just your family, your love, and your unique story.
If you’re looking for a relaxed, editorial-style newborn session that honors the quiet magic of the newborn stage, I’d be honored to be part of it.
