There’s something timeless about photographing a young family in the quiet simplicity of a studio setting—especially when there’s a baby in the mix. This recent session was the perfect blend of softness and authenticity. Sweet little Sloan was turning 1 and time stood still for a moment at the studio to capture it. No props, no distractions—just them!
The studio’s natural light poured in gently, giving a beautiful glow! We kept things minimal, focusing on honest moments: mom’s more tender moments and dad’s more fun moments tossing her up in the air. These are the frames that become heirlooms—not just because they’re beautiful, but because they’re real.
My approach is always to create a space where families can simply be. There’s no pressure to pose perfectly or smile on cue. Babies don’t follow scripts—and that’s the magic.
I aim for clean and classic in my editing to stand the test of time but still be relevant. My editing style leans into soft tones and true-to-life colors, reminiscent of timeless film photography. I want you to look at these photos 10, 20, 30 years from now and still feel something.
If you’re looking for a session that captures your family honestly—without the distractions—let’s connect. Whether in studio or outdoors, your story deserves to be told in a way that feels like you.
